Team Lead Coaches are expected to meet our culture of positive coaching , putting the development of the athletes first and helping develop and build enthusiasm for baseball in the Erie Community. We believe in developing athletes through practice and teaching them life skills through the sport of baseball to build leaders and good people for our community. Great coaches can change a young athletes life and help the athlete and parents put them on a pathway to success in sport and life.
As part of our partnership with the Erie SeaWolves we are ambassadors to the sport of baseball and it is our responsibility to help build the next generation of great baseball players in this area. Our coaches have an important role in developing players year round and working with players and parents from local schools and programs to develop each athlete on a player pathway. This is a critical part of our Erie Sports Center Baseball Academy program. Every level of our baseball program looks to the next level of techniques, knowledge, challenges and experience. As teams, players and coaches progress through the age levels our program leaders work with coaches to have the facilities, gear, outside instructors and environment to help coaches develop their players and build teams.
Coaches and teams in our organization have exclusive access to the following training facilities and programs. This gives our teams a home facility and allows all of our coaches to work together to build a high quality facility and focus on their teams instead of trying to find practice facilities. Special Event and Tournament Directors are expected to have a general knowledge of baseball and be able to plan, organize, market and manage a baseball event such as a tournament, summer camp, clinic, or special event. These individuals will be expected to assemble a staff, market the event and manage the event. These are outgoing, organized individuals will be expected to work directly with the Program Director and leadership team to organize and lead exciting baseball events that align with our culture and vision. This position is expected to have the following skills:

Fundraising Coordinators are outgoing, organized individuals that want to help make the community a better place by organizing and executing events to raise funds for our scholarship pathway, improving our facilities and team expenses. This position will be expected to work directly with the Program Director and leadership team to lead individual programs that align with our culture and vision to raise funds and bring awareness to our programs and youth athlete opportunities. These events/programs can include raffles, bingo nights, golf scramble, cornhole tournaments, obtaining banner sponsors, etc
